Mental health expert Nick de Waard

In an interview with Nick de Waard it immediately became clear to me that mental health is the most important thing there is. Click here for his website.
Without mental health we are completely lost. Mental health means that you are calm in your head and that you feel good. How can you enjoy life when you are busy in your head? Exactly, that’s not possible. That’s why you always want to put your mental health first. But how do you actually do that? How do you keep yourself mentally balanced?

Start with relaxation exercises as a basis

Nick de Waard recommends that you always start immediately with relaxation exercises. He has put a number of relaxation exercises  online that you can try. In this life it is all about balance, without balance we will go on and experience stress. The moment we are busy in our lives and there is no relaxation in return, we will get mental complaints.
For example, think of:

  • Headache
  • Being tired
  • Dizziness
  • Depression
  • Panic attacks

Of course you want to prevent this and that is why Nick already indicates: take more relaxation and take care of your mental health. That’s the most important thing.
